Let's Make a Change Together
There are many ways to assist. Find out more information about:
Donating
As in the saying, ‘Alone I go fast, but together we go far’, we are looking for you and your support.
Donations go to the building of the toolkits for schools and the funding of communal projects.
Our fundraising campaign is built so you can donate directly to a specific part of our work, or to few parts at the same time.
Here are the different ways you can donate:
As part of our funding campaign, we have designed a ¾ sleeve t-shirt which depicts a Shaul Tchernichovsky portrait in the front and a couple of stanzas from his poem “I believe”, on the back. The shirt is white with black sleeves.
We are selling the t-shirt for $50 USD or 160 NIS.
All income from the t-shirts will be directed entirely towards covering field activities (eight shirts would cover a workshop).
We are currently working on the writing of a series of four working tool manuals catering to the needs of schools, teachers, and educators, regarding effective diversity management at schools.
The manuals will be distributed in an electronic format in order to reach as many readers as possible.
The first manual deals with theoretical aspects, such as: Intercultural competence, diversity, vulnerability and alterity. The second manual deals with 'diversity in the curriculum'. The third one offers a working scheme for a diversity management task force. Lastly, the fourth one, deals with 'diversity in educational materials and resources'.
Donations above $1000 USD will be recognized as patrons. The writings of the manuals will be accompanied by an advisory committee composed by Prof. Yeshayahu Tadmor, Dr. Abraham Frank and Dr. Elan Ezrachi.
Our workshops are designed in order to help schools,
army, and police units learn to appreciate the advantages of social diversity, its benefits and challenges, and to acquire resources in order to manage social diversity effectively.
The cost of each workshop is about $400 USD.
Donors may choose which institution they would like their donation to go towards, and will receive documentation of their donation.
Givun created two projects which goals are to bring awareness about social diversity in two different ways:
The first one, the ‘flower project’, deals with bringing awareness about the harsh consequences of the actual state of affairs based on incitement, discrimination and racism and is Givun’s way to respond proactively against those acts and is a reminder of the fact that social diversity is beneficial despite the actual tendency.
The second one, the ‘door project’, deals with bringing awareness about the different views and ideas about social diversity through the lens of different communities in the form of doors which will be displayed in public spaces.
Both projects involve and invite diverse communities to gather together and also combine social sustainability with environmental sustainability and use recycled material to do so.
Donors may choose which project they would like to see their donation go towards, and will receive documentation of the physical locations of their flowers and the doors.
Donations for the flower project start at 120 USD or 400 ISL per flower.

Volunteering
How to get involved by volunteering or participating.
Givun is an ever growing community and is always looking for new friendships, partnerships and active members, in order to evolve and continue create a strong social cohesion from “0 to 99 years old”.
Volunteering includes decorating the ‘benches of dialogue’, building the doors for the ‘door project’, decorating and distributing flowers in the ‘flower project’.
Participating comes in the form of becoming an active member, donating time for structural support of GIVUN, sharing our Facebook page to friends, communities and institutions in general (public or private), and following our Instagram page, and promoting the work of Givun among others and potential places where Givun can play a crucial role.
